Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most consultations get scheduled within 7–10 days. Spring season (March–May) books fastest — get on the calendar early.

  • Not at all. Plenty of clients come in with "I want a bigger deck and I don't love the one I have." That's a great start.

  • We frame at 14 inches on center — most contractors frame at 16, which is the manufacturer's maximum, not a comfortable standard. We don't install wood decking or wood railing on anything we build, ever. We offer five framing systems because pressure-treated isn't right for every site. We pull every permit ourselves and know the inspectors in Roanoke County, Salem, Roanoke City, Botetourt, Bedford, and Franklin by name. And we only do outdoor living — no bathrooms, no additions, no roofing. That focus is the whole point.
